Bala Cheese Mushroom Pizza
Ingredients
• 200g Bala Cheese
• 3 cloves of garlic
• 30g plant-based (soy) cooking cream
• 200g oyster mushrooms
• 3 tbsp red onion chutney
• A sprinkle of pine nuts
• Parsley to taste
• Rocket to garnish
• 1 pizza base
Blend the base. Add Bala Cheese, garlic, and soy cream to a blender. Blend until smooth and spreadable — a rich vegan cheese base that works perfectly as a savoury pizza sauce.
Build the pizza. Spread the vegan cheese mixture evenly over your pizza base, leaving a 1 cm border for the crust.
Load it up. Add the oyster mushrooms, red onion chutney, pine nuts, and finely chopped parsley. This combination turns a simple base into one of those vegan recipes you keep coming back to.
Bake until golden. Bake at 220 °C for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and the toppings are lightly caramelised.
Finish with greens. Top with fresh rocket for a sharp, peppery finish. Serve hot and enjoy a pizza that proves vegan cheese can be seriously good.
